Trouble Streeter

I first discovered Regent Estates via friends living in Venice, and watched the initial NYC sim build from the ground up. I joined the staff as a greeter and tour guide on 9/10/07, the day before the WTC Memorial was first unveiled to the public, and the next day was added to our security team. I spent fourteen straight hours working on 9/11, guiding the many visitors around the sim while keeping griefers from disrupting a solemn occasion. While I've never *quite* pulled a day that long since (something my wrists are grateful for!), it is indicative of the enthusiasm and dedication I bring to my role here at Regent Estates.
I used to be the one you didn't want having edit privileges on your land and objects.. but with the encouragement and patience of my fellow Regent staff I've learned so much. Yes, I know some still tremble when I right-click my mouse, but I haven't returned any major buildings lately! As my skill set and confidence level grew, Melody provided additional opportunities for me to learn yet more, which is how I find myself as a Land Manager and chief manager for the October Moon residential sim. I have always tried to add but not subtract roles, which means you'll still find me a friendly face helping new SL'ers find their way into clothes and to the infohub.
When I'm not working, you'll find me either busy with other organizations I belong to or spending time with my partner Talin Sands. We met while he was building the Statue of Liberty and I was living in my first SL home in New York City. We've since moved to a Homestead in the Regent suburbs , and spend our time there, in New York, at Motorworld and associated biker sims, or off running through SL as a pair of white wolves.
The Regent Estates staff is a talented, diverse group from all over the real-life globe who believe strongly in a teamwork approach to getting the job done. Helping our clients and visitors have the best experience possible on our sims is our focus and our goal. But they're more than that.. we are truly family. We might not all agree on things, we each have our difficult moments, and we choose different friends, passions, and ways of being. But in the end, we say "Walk your own path, be your own person. We are family, and we're here for you no matter what." I couldn't ask for more, or better.
Let us bring that attitude to you.
